A natural in front of the camera, Barry Watson is nevertheless convinced that his success as an actor is just plain old good luck. In addition to starring in The WB's 7th Heaven, Watson shot his second feature film entitled Shearer's Breakfast over his summer hiatus. Filmed entirely on location in New Zealand, the thriller also stars Radha Mitchell and Josh Lucas.
Last year, he made his feature film debut starring opposite Katie Holmes (Dawson's Creek) in Kevin Williamson's black comedy Teaching Mrs. Tingle. Prior to landing his role on 7th Heaven, the Traverse City, Mich., native made recurring appearances on the television series Malibu Shores, and has guest-starred on many popular shows. He was also featured in the HBO original movie Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman, starring Daryl Hannah.
Watson's rugged good looks landed him in TV Guide as One of the Sexiest People on tv as well as in People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful issue. |
